Banak Fort (Lakselv)
2 x gun casemates in the mountainside facing Banak/Lakselv airfield, entry sections permanently closed by the N. army in 2007.
(According to Wikipedia, construction started in 1944, but completed by the Norwegians after the war )
Most likely same style as the casemates in Hattfjelldal & Mandal airports for protection of the runways??

Not much changes since 2007, but a few summerhouses have been built inside the battery (northern end)
Found additional 1 x RS58 + open position for 5 cm KwK which I think we missed in 2007(??)

3 holes blown out in the rocks, 1 x small concrete bunker.
According to the landowner, the battery only consisted of earth positions which was “cleaned” several years ago.
